“Compared to my peers, I am rather optimistic about the 2023 outlook and do not think Malaysia will be in recession. On the contrary, I believe our economy will be resilient and will likely be one of the recovery markets for foreign investors compared to our regional peers,” he added.
In terms of our local bourse and listed company’s valuation, Ng said Malaysia is still trading at an undemanding valuation with a good risk to reward for further upside.”
